OVERVIEW

Description

The aim of this course is to familiarize participants in electrical safety requirements for any industry with systematic approach for identifying, evaluating and controlling facility electrical hazards for different industrial requirements

Explosive atmospheres in the workplace can be caused by flammable gases, mists or vapors or by combustible dusts. Explosions can cause loss of life and serious injuries as well as significant damage.

This course will describe the general safety procedures , what are the safety procedures will be followed during selection of equipment’s in different areas like hazardous area, safety procedures followed during the operation of equipment’s covering basic HV and LV operation , safety procedures followed during maintenance like permit to work, LOTO

This course will give a concept of AETX and how the electrical equipment’s will be selected to use in these atmosphere and what are the controls is required
